Curious Movement in Mysterious Depths
Enrich your practice with the experiential yoga of Louise Simmons in a series of workshops that cultivate a subtlety of attention that is
transformative for yoga practitioners of all levels.
Louise's work is informed by a deepening practice in the lineage of
Vanda Scaravelli through her mentor Diane Long
with Swami Uditramananda
Nothing could adequately express the experience of seven days living the full yogic lifestyle at the Ashram in the company and guidance of such a yogi as Swami Uditramananda.
Our Ashram lights up from early morning into the evening with yoga practice, study, workshops, fire ceremonies, satsangs and meditation as together we create a powerful energy field. Each afternoon we are immersed in silence to find the deep rest, the deep truth, the deep knowing.

9 days of fresh vegan raw food diet.
Daily chanting of Sanskrit mantras dedicated to the glory of the Divine Mother.

Ashram Open Day
The Ashram comes to life, offering such diversity of fare, yoga events in the yoga hall, talks in the library.
It is enormous. Many people come to have a look at the house on the hill. Come and support our Ashram Yoga Centre, have morning tea, lunch, sit in the grounds, chat.
Diane Long was the first of Scaravelli's regular students and studied with her for 23 years. During Vanda Scaravelli's 40 years of practice she accepted only a small number of individual students, all of whom were teachers. Diane is based in Charleston, USA and travels all over the world teaching and practicing yoga.
Legendary yoga teacher Vanda Scaravelli, who died in 1999 at the age of 91, developed an approach to yoga that is radically different from most forms of yoga taught today.
