We wish to acknowledge that we are meeting on the traditional country of the Whadjuk people, the traditional owners of the greater-Fremantle/Walyalup area and pay respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
And to acknowledge and pay respect to Swami Venkatesananda who founded our Ashram in 1976 in the name of his great yoga Master, H.H. Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh.
There is no knowledge of the self to the unsteady and to the unsteady no meditation is possible and to the unmeditative there can be no peace and to the one who has no peace, how can there be happiness?
