A Message From Our Chair
Updated: May 20, 2020
Ashram is and remains an oasis of peace in the hustle and bustle of competitive life, despite Covid-19. Our Yoga classes are now being offered remotely on Zoom and in limited numbers at the large Yoga Hall with high ceilings and wooden beams on a face to face environment as before. Although the Ashram building with few residents remains closed to the public for now, we are committed to taking on new long term residents (subject to Covid-19 clearance) on a one at a time basis, email us your interest firstname.lastname@example.org -- and share in the wonderful Ashram experience. With daily meditation, daily yoga classes, Sunday Jnana Yoga discussion (also offered on online through Zoom), Kirtans, online Bhagavad Geeta classes; peace and quiet of a beautiful library; meditative grounds of the Ashram; its cosy kitchens and dining areas; extensive spiritual literature and a beautiful library; opportunity to soak in the sunset in the large West Verandah; large kitchen garden; the peace and quiet of its trees, shrubs and lawns - the Ashram experience remains as wonderful and spiritually uplifting as ever.
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT OUR RESIDENTIAL SPIRITUAL PROGRAM In the meantime we pray for all those who have suffered and are suffering in the wake of Covid-19. Perhaps we too need to take charge of our lives and refocus some of it towards what is the real purpose of life, why am I here and who am I. Regards Shanker
