Yoga Hall Fees:      

 

$500.00 (Inc GST) Saturday & Sunday

$150.00 (inc GST) Friday evening from 6.30pm

$290.00 (Inc GST) per day

$155.00 (Inc GST) less than 4 hours per day/evening

 

As we are in a Covid environment we would appreciate you wiping down yoga hall surfaces and equipment at the end of your event, cleaning products provided . Social distancing is encouraged in a responsible manner.

Tearoom: This facility is next to the Yoga Hall and toilets and is included in hall hire.   Please ensure room (including dishes/cutlery) is left clean. Notification of use when booking is required.

​

Kitchen: Upstairs in Ashram building:

This kitchen in Ashram building may be externally accessed for use by Yoga Hall hirers. Please ensure the Kitchen (including dishes/cutlery) is left clean. Notification of use when booking together with a refundable bond of $50 is required.

Access Codes: Each entry door has an access code which is frequently changed.  You can obtain the current code from our administration office. The codes must not be shared with anyone other than the person who is responsible for the hire.

Yoga Hall Fire Exits:   Please note there is a large double door in storage area for fast exit in case of emergency and nothing should be placed in front of these doors at any time. Fire Extinguishers are on the East Wall of the storage area.

​

The Sivananda Ashram Beacon Yoga Centre is strictly Vegetarian. There is to be no consumption of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, meat and fish anywhere on the premises.

 

Footwear: No shoes to be worn in Yoga Hall at any time. (please wear shoes from your car to the door)

Candles: (the use of fire safe containers is appreciated).

​

Food & Drink in Yoga Hall: No food or drink except bottled water.

​

Fans/Lights and Air Conditioning must be Turned OFF when leaving.  Switches are on East Wall near doorway.

​

Reverse cycle air conditioning – remote controls on the West Wall. Please do Not change the temp settings on Reverse cycle air conditioning. Using the ceiling fans on setting 1 (one) is most effective for heating results

​

Quietness & Consideration is requested when participants depart the premises as people live in the Ashram and in neighbouring homes. This is especially important if departure is in the evening.

Cancellation Policy Venue Hire

• Your booking is confirmed on receipt of 50% deposit of hire fee.

• Notice of cancellation given in writing more than 60 days prior to hire date will allow deposit to be reimbursed in full with no costs.

• Cancellation 15 days to 60 days prior to the event will result in the cancellation fee equal to 50% of the deposit.

• Cancellation 48 hours to 14 days prior to the event will result in the cancellation fee equal to the deposit.

• Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the event will result in the cancellation fee equal to the full hire quotation amount.

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance payable one month prior to your booking date.

Parking:

In designated parking areas only. Verge parking is inconvenient to our neighbours and we have sprinklers. If parking area is full please direct overflow to TAFE parking area in Grosvenor Street.
